Superstition Springs is a small but strategic community in Mesa, Arizona. East Mesa clutches much of the upper half of this community’s northern, eastern and western borders. U.S. Route 60, as this map also indicates, defines the entire northern border of Superstition Springs while Guadalupe Road sets its southern boundary; north Gilbert borders this community too toward west.
The whole land area of Superstition Springs totals only about 3.2 square miles but it offers a sizable stock of single family homes and condominium units. Prospective buyers can start their choice from sales listings of single family homes built in the early 1990s with three bedrooms and two baths set within a floor plan of 1,225 square feet. The home buying options in Superstition Springs include single detached residences having five bedrooms and three baths set at floor areas of about 3,500 square feet and constructed around the mid-1990s.
For condo hunters, multifamily residences in this community have floor plans ranging from 1,074 square feet to 1,408 square feet, designed with two bedrooms and two baths, and built around the late 1990s up to early 2000s.
In addition, there are newly built as well as vintage 1970s affordable manufactured homes in Superstition Springs’ Desert Sands subdivision. These residences come in two- to four-bedroom layouts in living areas ranging from about 1,000 square feet up to 1,700 square feet.
Amenities: Superstition Springs is a self-contained community, being host to a shopping center with Dillard’s, JCPenney, Macy’s, Picture Show, and Sears among its anchor stores. The mall also boasts of an outdoor amphitheater and a fountain that converts into a stage featuring free concerts from May to August on Saturday evenings. The Mesa Pavilions and its specialty stores are also located just east of this entertainment and commercial hub.
Desert Sands Golf and Country Club, with its own residential community to boot, is also within the confines of Superstition Springs. Besides its 18-hole golf course and practice facilities, this club also feature a popular local restaurant, Oasis Grill.
Facilities and services as superb are also available at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, touted as one of the best daily fee golf course destinations in Arizona.
Schools: Access to primary education is as convenient for households with children in this community which is home to the Superstition Springs Elementary School. Other schools serving this area include Noah Webster Basic School, La Petite Academy, Lexington Life Academy, Highland Jr High, Desert Ridge High, Highland High, and Liberty Arts Academy.
